It’s raining season here in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. And in this cold and raining day, a bowl of hot creamy delicious soup sounds perfect, doesn’t it? I made broccoli soup before but This soup hit the spot perfectly. And let me tell you it is the BEST broccoli cheese soup that I have had! Hot soup with homemade french bread was fantastic!!! I love how creamy it was and the veggies inside gave it a nice texture to the soup. I’ll post the recipe for French Baguettes later.
You will love this cupcakes as much as i do. It’s so moist and chocolatey. The black coffee gives the chocolate flavour extra yumminess. As for the frosting , i made my first buttercream frosting and i really didn’t like how it taste cos it was way too sweet. But i love how pretty my frosting Colour was. Still a bit messy though. If you have favourite frosting recipe that is not too sweet, please share it with me.
Garam masala (from Hindi: गरम मसाला, garam (“hot”) and masala (a mixture of spices)) is a blend of ground spices common in North Indian and other South Asian cuisines. It is used alone or with other seasonings. The word garam refers to “heat” in the Ayurvedic sense of the word, meaning “to heat the body” as these spices, in the Ayurvedic system of medicine, elevate body temperature.
The sweet memory of eating Indian Food in Singapore and Bali couple of years back made me in the mood to make homemade Indian Dishes. I have chickpeas that i never use, so i googled for Indian food with chickpeas as the main ingredient, and I found Chana Masala. One of the spices was Garam Masala and I Couldn’t find it anywhere. So I made my own Homemade Garam Masala. It’ll be in my next blog post.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!! Today i’m making super easy and tasty snack called Churro!!!
“A churro, sometimes referred to as a Spanish doughnut, is a fried-dough pastry—predominantly choux—based snack. Churros are popular in Spain, France, the Philippines, Portugal, Ibero-America and the United States. In Spain, churros can either be thin (and sometimes knotted) or long and thick . They are normally eaten for breakfast dipped in hot chocolate or café con leche. – Wikipedia”
